King Charles IX Suite
In memory of the stay in 1566 of the young king and his court, with his mother and owner of the property, Queen Catherine de' Medici.
Views over the main courtyard and the Monne valley from the sitting room/study, and over the keep and the great chestnut tree in the main courtyard from the bedroom. Louis XIII-style furnishings and decor. Oak Versailles and Chantilly parquet flooring in the sitting room. The room is located in a 14th century tower, beneath a beautiful vault decorated with the fleur-de-lys coat of arms of the La Tour d'Auvergne family. Four-poster bed and large period fireplace. In the en-suite toilets, built into the thickness of the walls, you will find a lava stone washbasin and window.
Allow yourself to be seduced by the historical atmosphere of this suite and the charm of its bathroom designed with luxury materials.
During the hot season, the thickness of the walls offers natural coolness, without the inconveniences of air conditionning.

On the 2nd level, reached by an inside stone staircase of ten or so steps: the bedroom and separate toilets.
