Wedding venue in Auvergne

In the heart of Auvergne there is a special place, perfect for hosting your wedding reception: the Chateau Royal de Saint Saturnin. It is located in the village of the same name, only a few kilometres from the A75 exit 5, not far from Clermont Ferrand. The fortress with its rich historic past belonged successively to the queens Catherine de Medici and Marguerite de Valois. The part of the chateau where receptions are held is situated in a very old part of the building: two rooms are available there which can accommodate a large number of guests.

Fully equiped...

The reception rooms are fully equipped with tables and chairs which can be set up in the desired arrangement. The decoration of the different reception areas, both outside and inside the chateau, can also be altered to fit in with the wedding theme. The external areas of the site also offer an exceptional view of the surrounding areas: the village of Saint Saturnin and the Auvergne Volcano Natural Park. For meals, the owners of the chateau offer two catering areas located within the residence, where modern equipment can be used to produce the different dishes for your wedding meal.

... and a magical scenery

The reception rooms of the chateau are available all year round and offer convivial and authentic surroundings. The unusual setting of this room, its mediaeval architecture and its indisputable charm provide a complete change of scene. The chateau also offers guesthouse facilities and one of its five rooms can accommodate the married couple for their wedding night. A guided tour of the chateau, its moats, ramparts and towers can also be organised.
